XACT offers the X-REEL-01-0 deployable cable reel system for applications where a cable connection travels with the equipment. Available preloaded with custom cable assemblies and connector interfaces, it brings cable storage and the supplied connection into one equipment configuration.
Temporary field connections have a different working rhythm from permanent cabinet wiring. Cable is transported, paid out, connected and recovered. The reel gives that cycle a defined storage point, while the cable assembly provides the electrical connection between equipment positions.

The X-REEL-01-0 can be configured with molded cable assemblies, with optional through-bulkhead connectors for a quick-disconnect arrangement. These options allow the reel interface to be considered alongside the field cable rather than added after the assembly has been selected.
For a temporary instrumentation position or deployable communications installation, the useful question is how the equipment connects during use and packs away afterward. A preloaded reel can keep the selected assembly associated with its deployment hardware. Cable length, connector interfaces and the available installation space determine the proposed configuration.
An organized route back into storage
Recovery matters as much as payout. A reel provides a designated place for the cable between deployments and can make the transport arrangement easier to recognize. It does not replace the handling requirements of the particular cable or connector, and the finished system must suit the equipment environment.
